Our accommodation is fitted out by a local craftsman (Fiona's big brother). It comprises sleeping facilities for twelve divers within 6 twin berth cabins, each cabin has it's own radiator and hand wash basin with hot and cold running water.
Each bunk has it's own twin 240 volt socket and reading light.
While tied up in Stromness harbour we are connected to 240v shore power which is metered and is the responsibility of those living onboard to maintain, but once at sea we have a continual supply of 240 volt power from our onboard generator which is situated in the shelter deck at the front of the vessel.
Due to the warmth from the generator the shelter deck also doubles as a heated changing and drying room.
We also keep within the shelter deck our oxygen Kit as well as first aid kit ready and available to the divers at all times.
I have a Dragger Oxygen kit and a Phemo Pack up on the bridge with me, and there's always have plenty of Oxygen onboard
The boat is equipped with two toilets with hand wash basins, and two showers.
